Adult courses
Artist Trading Cards are 2.5” x 3.5” pieces of art that are easy and fun to make and trade. ATC makers are an international community where artists and non-artists alike make cards in any medium (paint, collage, printing, fabric etc.) for trading only. We will explore many techniques for creating cards and finish with a trading session. Be creative together, experiment with artists’ materials, and have fun.

Create art you can walk on! Strong and vibrant or soft and subtle, painted floor cloths are a stimulating and expressive art form that is fun, decorative, and purposeful. During this course, you will learn how to create at least one floor cloth of your own design from start to finish. While you create, you will also learn the history of this ancient art.

Beginner and intermediate
A fun and educational course focusing on painting from nature. Classes will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Students are welcome to work in oils and acrylics or watercolour.

Intermediate to advanced level required
Create a special gift box using paper board and colourful papers to be used to give a gift or to store special mementos or jewellery. Students will learn how to measure and cut out each section of the box and lid, how to glue the sections together and how to cover it with beautiful papers. Learn how to cut paper to create neat corners and covers for the bottom of the box and lid that appear almost seamless.
