Class hours are:
- YAWS: 9am to 3pm with one hour for lunch
- All other courses: 9am to 4pm with one hour for lunch

How to apply to teach a course at the Pontiac School of the Arts
STEP 1
Welcome to the first steps of planning for our 2010 summer session of The Pontiac School of the Arts. PSOTA is looking for instructors to offer courses in arts and crafts.
- ½ day courses to children aged 8-13 in our Young Artists’ Workshop program (YAWS)
- 1, 2, 3 or 4 day courses to adults (can start at age 14 )
Courses can be offered in English, French or both. If you wish to teach more than one course please provide a separate reply for each.
Courses will be scheduled on weekdays and weekends July 2 – Aug. 2, 2010, at the Stone School, 28 Mill Street in Portage-du-Fort. Acceptance of your course will be up to the decision of the organizing committee for PSOTA.
If you are interested in giving a course please send us the following basic information in either French or English. (At a later date (STEP 2) we will ask for full course descriptions, materials lists, translations etc.)
Please send your reply by email if possible as a word document or in the body of the email giving your answers in a numbered list following the numbered questions below.
- Contact Information: Name, mailing address, email, web site if applicable and phone number(s).
- The age range for your course. Example: children 8-13 years (YAWS), adults 16+, etc.
- A short description of your course with title, brief outline and # days. Example: Drawing: basic drawing techniques for beginners, 2 days.
- Please indicate level of experience required (beginner, intermediate, advanced) or if this is a repeat or a continuation of a course you have taught previously at PSOTA.
- Will you supply materials to students at cost or will they need to purchase them independently? Please indicate approximate costs.
- Do you prefer that your course be held on a weekday or a weekend?
